The reality is that older adults face discrimination in society and the workforce. Older workers – particularly older women of color – have been shut out of job opportunities and, as a result, live with increased economic uncertainty.
We need to start changing the narrative around how we look at these workers. We need to examine how we are accelerating opportunity for older workers to be trained and upskilled for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
It is imperative we act now.
