Finding a high school job. For many teens this is one of the most stressful part of their high school life, besides trying to fit in and applying to colleges of course. And while most teens think finding a job is a scary and hard process I hope to show you in this video that it is truly not that hard at all.
In this video I show you where to look for jobs, for example your towns chamber of commerce, and google jobs. I also show you where to go on companies websites to find what positions they have open. All in all I hope you inform you of places you can find a good, high paying high school job and show you it is not that hard!

One of the most stressful parts about being a teenager is finding a job. Maybe your parents are nagging you to get a job, or you need to buy a car. Once you get your license, or you need to buy guests to pay for that. Or maybe you just want to go out and have a good time with your friends and have money to spend on things.
Or maybe you need money to start a cidal solar. You want to save for college, whatever you want to do, you need some money. So a great way to get that money for whatever you need is with a job. Because today we’re going to be walking through how you can find the perfect job for your high school career.
And I’m not going to be just talking to you like this the entire time. I’m actually going to go on my computer with you guys. And we’re going to find jobs together. We’re going to go on company’s websites and job searches and all of that stuff in this video. So without further ado, Get started right now.
So first, when you’re looking for a summer job, you want to determine where you want to work. Do you want to get into a specific industry? Do you want specific and or experience in a specific industry or honestly, do you just want money and to help you find a. Area or a specific job. If you have no clue, I recommend you go to your town or cities, chamber of commerce.
Most cities I am that I’m aware of have a chamber of commerce website for me. I’m going to be doing, uh, the Madison, Wisconsin one here. It’s kind of near where I live. So chamber of commerce, here you go. And click on the menu here. And most of the times they will have a business directory. This will give you.
All of the businesses in this area. So if we scroll down here, we can choose a specific industry. So if I want to go into agriculture or finance or healthcare or whatever, and you can just click on one of these, let’s do finance and then you can look through all of the businesses, find a business that you would like to work at, go to their website and try to find a job there, which we’ll go into in just a second.
But I just wanted to show you guys, uh, the chamber of commerce is a great spot to start out defined businesses in your area. If you really have no idea, but for this video’s purposes, let’s say I really want to work at target. I would love to work at target dream high school job at right here at target.
So I’m going to go to their website and usually if you scroll all the way down, they have all of this stuff down here. Um, how stores stuff, if we go to more here, you’ll see they have a career section. We’re going to click on that careers and look at the jobs they have to offer. So we made our way to a search for job opportunities here.
