There’s a new way to show up in recruiters’ search results on LinkedIn and it might be a game-changer for job seekers.
LinkedIn can now scan your uploaded resume for keywords and surface those in recruiters’ search results-so even if your profile isn’t fully built out, your experience will still be searchable.
That’s not to say you *shouldn’t* fill out your LinkedIn profile -it’s still important!-but having a keyword-rich resume uploaded can give your profile an added boost.
So how do you know what keywords to include on your resume?
Save jobs you’re interested in to your Teal Job Tracker
using the free Chrome extension. Teal will highlight the hard
and soft skills that are most important for each role.
Use the Teal Resume Builder’s “Matching Mode” to see exactly which keywords and skills you should include on your resume and which ones are missing.
Leverage built-in GPT functionality to write keyword-rich achievements with metrics. (You’ll still need to edit the output, but Al can speed up the process!)
Then export your resume as a PDF and upload it to your LinkedIn profile.
