The Book That Will Change the World

This is the recording of the workshop “People with disabilities in Search & Rescue Operations” organised as part of the EU-funded Search and Rescue (SnR) project.

High level experts from EU institution DG EMPL and the international organisation European Disability Forum provided an overview of existing disability-inclusive developments in EU framework and initiatives in humanitarian and search and rescue operations. This was complemented by a view from on-the-ground practitioners (Firefighter, Observatory member and Project manager) who shared their experience as well as guidelines on emergency preparedness for people with disabilities.
