1️⃣ BE HONEST BUT NOT TOO HONEST
Let them know why your current company wasn’t the best fit, but remember to remain professional by not bashing your previous employers. It is also totally okay to let them know you were laid off, but you don’t need to go into detail for legal reasons.
2️⃣ TELL THEM HOW THEY’RE A BETTER FIT
Bring the conversation back to the current interview by letting the company know how they’re a better fit for your career trajectory.
