You open up your email, or you answer the phone, and you get the dreaded news: you have not been selected to continue in the hiring process or interview process.
You feel like your interviews went well, maybe even great, and you are shocked, disappointed, upset, angry, sad (the list goes on!) to hear you have not been selected for the next steps.
What do you do?
In this video, I share with you my advice on how to handle this exact situation. Even if you are extremely upset about not being selected, DO NOT burn your bridges with this organization, hiring manager, recruiter, or interviewer. It’s up to you to continue to make a good impression and NOT burn any bridges so you can potentially tap into this organization or person as a job resource in the future.
